Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026. This is a plain-language description of what MECCHA CHAMELEON Studio actually does, written by the person who built it — not a law firm. If you need something more formal for your own purposes, get it reviewed by a lawyer.
What this is
MECCHA CHAMELEON Studio (http://localhost:3000) is a small, unofficial fan-made tool. This policy covers the account, content, and payment data the app itself handles.
If you sign in with Google
We receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google — nothing else (no access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or anything beyond basic profile info). This is stored to know who you are across visits, so features like Pro and "my creations" work. We never see or store your Google password.
Photos and creations you upload
Photos you upload are processed to strip embedded metadata (including EXIF/GPS location data) before anything is stored. If you publish a creation, the resulting image, your title/description/tags, and its visibility setting (public, unlisted, or private) are stored on our server. Public and unlisted creations are visible to anyone with the link; private ones are visible only to you. You can delete your own creations at any time.
Likes
If you're signed in, a like is tied to your account. If you're not signed in, we store a one-way hash of your IP address and browser identifier — not the raw IP — just enough to stop the same visitor from liking a creation many times.
Payments
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on their own hosted checkout page — we never see or store your card number. We keep a record that a purchase happened (amount, currency, and a Stripe reference ID) so we know your account is entitled to Pro features.
Cookies
Only the essential cookie that keeps you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run any third-party analytics.
Deleting your data
You can delete any creation you've published yourself, any time. To delete your account and everything tied to it, email semsum1@hotmail.com and we'll remove it.
